It was all to play for in Group 1 with Bloomberg and VMLY&R battling for qualification.
It would take something special to stop VCCP.
Unbeaten and sitting pretty at the top of the table.
Saatchi without a point and bottom of the table going into the final round.
A miracle needed for them to qualify 🪄
They were up against VMLY&R who have shocked the group with two solid performances so far.
Saatchi started with 4 players due to a last-minute dropout by captain Hernan and a late arrival from Ray. As you can imagine VMLY&R dominated the opening 10 and were well on their way to securing their spot in the Quarters.
Next door Bloomberg raced to an early lead against VCCP.
Ray arrives.

Saatchi merged as a solid unit upon his arrival.
The comeback began.
The comeback quickly turned into a dominant display.
VMLY&R were sadly no match for these 5.
Saatchi raced to win the game by 7 goals.

They couldn't qualify.

They needed Bloomberg to lose by 5 or more.
Last time we checked they were winning by 2.

Bloomberg missed Duarte and lacked depth, allowing VCCP to fight back.
VCCP were without the two-time World Cup player of the match, O'Neill.
Could they do it without him?
You bet ya.
Captain Mallins catapulted his side to victory and in the absence of O'Neill, got his hands on the player of the match award 🎖
So what did this mean?
