This week at Secta we returned to our favourite underpass and kicked some ball for Matchweek 3.

There's certainly something in the air this season as this one can't be predicted ๐Ÿ†

Letโ€™s start at the top.
Yeah, youโ€™re reading that right.
The Mill. Top of the league.
3 from 3 โœ…

This one was a gift mind. With Mallins checking the team attendance on the bus back from Glastonbury, it was never going to be a goer for VCCP. But let's give him credit for having a phone with a battery to communicate after the weekend he'd had. Nonetheless, this leaves VCCP without a win after 2 games. A far cry from their unbeaten winter season. Have the mighty fallen? ๐Ÿ“‰

Over to McCann London, another team with that 100% win percentage. But it wasnโ€™t plain sailing. AKQA Group took the early lead and had plenty of chances to win this. Maybe their inexperience cost them as McCann London showed some heavy-hitting to come from behind and grab the win ๐ŸฅŠ

It was a similar story over on pitch 5 as VMLY&R started strongly against a lagging Saatchi & Saatchi side. As the game developed Saatchi showed grit and determination to hustle their way to victory. It was the classy Mr Smooth that epitomised this Saatchi side once again.

Both We Are Social and adam&eveDDB were seeking their first win of the season. In a tight clash, Ardelโ€™s 5 came out on top, bouncing back from last weekโ€™s drumming to secure the win ๐Ÿ™Œ

Wieden + Kennedy vs. Ogilvy UK treated us to some of
the finest footy we've seen at Secta. End-to-end stuff. Any goal from either side cancelled out. That was until Ogilvy UK hit the buzzer shot and knicked the 3 points ๐Ÿ””

Scores or the doors ๐Ÿšช
VMLY&R 8-10 Saatchi & Saatchi
adam&eveDDB 11-12 We Are Social
Wieden + Kennedy 10-11 Ogilvy UK
AKQA Group 4-9 McCann London

Until next week,
Secta.
