VCCP have installed fear into their opponents after their emphatic start to the season with teams afraid to take them on, with Anomaly the latest culprit 👻

We Are Social 8-9 Wunderman Thompson

This mid-bottom of the table clash was a classic. WeAreSocial started the stronger with former employee, turned ringer, Areoye, controlling the game. But it was Wunderman Thompson's star man on the night, Ryan, that got his side back into the game with his thunderous strikes and last-minute winner 🤩

Wieden + Kennedy 6-7 Saatchi & Saatchi

It’s certainly been a fall from grace for current champions, Wieden + Kennedy. Whilst their memory of winning the league will last forever, unfortunately, their form has not. In search of their first points of the season they took on Saatchi & Saatchi who waisted no time, taking instant control of the fixture with a succession of early goals. 7 in the first half in fact 😬

Saatchi & Saatchi captain, Mr Smooth, AKA Hernan, was looking his best yet, in a retro Liverpool shirt gifted by the powers that be after telling his team to arrive in the wrong colour. We're sure he'll be asking to borrow that one again 👘

As the second half commenced shouts of “remember that McCann game” circled pitch 12. Don't worry, we've not got a clue about that game either but let's think comeback vibes. Wieden's embarked on their mahoosive second-half challenge with style and quality reminiscent of the glory days. Goal after goal followed and Saatchi’s looked in real trouble. On this occasion, it wasn’t quite enough for Wieden’s but big ups for the effort and providing a truly scintillating watch 🍿

The Mill 5-25 Ogilvy UK

It wasn’t an evening to remember for The Mill as they faced an in-form Ogilvy UK side, who’ve now won their last 3 on the bounce. Ogilvy UK started strongly and didn’t really slow down from that point, scoring an impressive 25 goals. The less said about this one the better we think.

We take a break next week for the bank holiday and then we're back for the cup semi-finals 🏆

When we return to the league we’ve got a top-of-the-table clash between VCCP and adam&eveDDB. City v Liverpool vibes.
