Straight into it. The title race 🏆
Going into the evening Wieden + Kennedy and adam&eveDDB couldn’t be separated. 7 games played, not a point between them. This one was going down to the wire.

In what might be the most anticlimactic title race ever. adam&eveDDB failed to field a team due to a shoot overrunning. Booo.
Although we must say, this was one of AMV BBDO's better performances of the season 👀
Advantage Wieden + Kennedy going into their fixture against BBH London. Pym knew what was needed and most certainly wasn’t going to let previous employee, Newby, stop his side. As you can imagine this was a tense affair and a cagey first half. Wieden's eventually began to dominate in the second as BBH somewhat lost their composure, despite some absolute HOWTZINGERS from the new BBH centre back, Osango. But any goal this week was second to that of Ritter, with a simply exquisite first-time backheel flick. Goal of the night 👏

Let’s join the chasing pack with Anomaly, taking on We Are Social. In the feisty affair, both teams were cancelling one another out. That was until Anomaly nicked 2 goals towards the end of the first half and took a 6-4 lead. The game intensified as minutes passed and We Are Social supplied an answer to Anomaly’s first-half lead. 7-7. 10 minutes left to play. We Are Social with the momentum looked favourites but Anomaly dug deep and quickly scored 2 consecutive goals 😮
What. A. Game.
And what a run that is for Anomaly.

The final game of the evening saw Droga5 take on Ogilvy UK.
In what has been described as ’one of the best games’ the ref has seen to date, we had ourselves a battle. A big clash in the hope of promotion for both sides. High-quality football from the outset. Dedication from both sets of players. This was one neck and neck until the very end. But as the game went on Ogilvy UK tired and Droga5 utilised their substitutes to freshen things up and secured the victory 🎉
