The week at Secta it was pretty damn toastie. Understandably the heat got the best of a few teams, although some heavy hitters persevered for the points on offer.

As you can imagine, Mallins’ VCCP, were not one of them 👀

Sadler gave it a pop against top of the league with the proposal of a sporting draw. An outlandish request The Mill Captain, Thompson, found so boring, she genuinely fell asleep 😴

The highlights 📸

Anomaly started quickly and dominated early against AKQA. That was until Twinkle Toes (Babalola) entered the field with his side 3-0 down. Despite missing a handful of sitters, he impacted the game and created opportunities that brought his team back in contention. And that’s all they needed. As the game progressed Anomaly looked tired and the 2 substitute advantage from AKQA really showed 🏃

McCann London are not the team you want to be playing right now. Never mind in this heat, without substitutes and a few ringers. But adam&eveDDB gave it a crack.

McCann London wasted no time bringing the free-flowing footy we’ve seen time after time this season. It was a tough game for adam&eveDDB and they called on support for the second half from 2 ringers. Who certainly raised the quality of the game, with one of them even nutmegging star-man TS7. Hopefully, this won’t affect his form for the remainder of the season 👀
