Well, pretty much. Let’s not forget the battle for 13th place happening on Monday between AMV BBDO and BBH London.

This week, the champions were crowned 👑

McCann London started the day fearful The Mill would field a team of Wieden + Kennedy ringers. So fearful captain JJ had hand-crafted 3 complaints before 9am 👀

In fairness, it couldn't stand 🚫

The governing body interjected and much to the dismay of Pym and Thomson, the game would be without ringers from title challenges Wieden + Kennedy.

But nonetheless, worth giving it a go.

A point for McCann would secure the trophy 🏆

And they wasted no time in their pursuit.

After a tense start, a high press smothered The Mill and McCann raced to a 3-0 lead.

The Mill fought well but on the night there was only going to be one winner.

Initial tension, lost, twitchy bums, loosened. McCann began to play. Flair on full show as they showcased why they’re the champs.

It’s been a cracking title race and bravo to Wieden + Kennedy who have followed them every step of the way.

The battle for 3rd 🤺

VCCP successfully completely one job this season after returning the trophy after a miserable attempt at retaining it 😬

Anomaly needed to beat the former champs to secure 3rd place. But with the trophy, came the return of the left-footed wizard, O'Neill.

Anomaly were without captain McCormick and in all honesty, never looked like winning this tie. VCCP showed glimpses of their former self.

Scott The Cat Kennedy even got a run-out, showcasing he's also tidy with his feet with some acute finishes in the second half 🔥

Over to AKQA who rolled up with a 20-fan-strong crowd.
The biggest we’ve ever seen at Secta.
Proper agency that 👏

But could they grab the win?
Up against a seasoned Saatchi & Saatchi side who are more than capable of spoiling the party 🎉

It was a close game with both sides having their fair share of chances but it was AKQA’s 6th player, the fans, that got this one over the line 💃

A victory that secures 3rd place for AKQA in their debut season. A cracking effort from Wylie and Elliott that was celebrated with fried chicken & beers 🍗🍻
