You’ll all be pleased to know we returned to one big league, although adam&eveDDB might be regretting their votes after this week’s result 😬

Let’s kick off with newbies, The Mill, taking on Division 2 runners up, Anomaly. Despite co-captains, Gandhi & Thomson putting their body on the line with some cracking saves their seasoned opponents proved too strong on this occasion. With even an outfield appearance for full-time waterboy, part-time captain, McCormick, as he returns from injury 🤕

Anomaly 14 - 6 The Mill

Following the theme of newcomers, Wunderman Thompson arrived in town for their first official fixtures against last years cup finalists, Droga5. It was always going to be a tough start against wonder keeper, Anderson, but they played some excellent football and battled well. However, Droga5 showed their experience and secured the win 🧤

The beloved pitch 12 welcomed back reigning champions to take on BBH London. A very tight affair from start to finish, with both teams having their fair share of the ball. But BBH London grabbed the pivotal goal in Fergie time as they came from behind to nick the win. This is the start of dreams for Cumming's BBH London, but their issue has always been consistency. Could this be their year? 📈

Tight affairs didn’t continue on pitch 12 as last years runners up, adam&eveDDB were subject to a thrashing from Ogilvy UK. Despite former captain, Halliday, dusting off his cleats and returning to the big league. Stride's Ogilvy were a class above and one to watch this season 👀

VCCP are coming into the league in hot form following their triumph in the cup. Up against McCann London who have been participating in a winter training camp with none other than Roberto Carlos. Sadly the knowledge imparted to Wynn and co wasn’t enough on the night, as VCCP continued their rich vein of form 🔥
