Wieden + Kennedy vs. BBH London.
We start the evening with league leaders and fan favourites for the competition, Wieden + Kennedy. Taking on a strong BBH London side that have the potential to upset proceedings 😬
BBH started strongly, taking the lead within the opening minute sending shockwaves around Shoreditch. The early goal opened the game up with both teams attacking well. But as you'd expect, it didn’t take Wieden + Kennedy long to regain control.
It was a feisty affair with both sides showing how much this accolade would do for the agency reel. BBH London created good chances but couldn’t hold onto the ball for long enough as Wieden + Kennedy quickly nullified what could have been a valiant comeback 🛑

The next fixture saw Division 2 side, Droga5, up against Division 1 title challengers, adam&eveDDB.
As you’d expect adam&eveDDB started dominantly but it was Droga5 keeper, Anderson, making a string of phenomenal saves to give his side the edge. There was little to be said for the opposing keeper from adam&eveDDB who had a stinker from start to finish. Initially turning up late so Macfarlane stepped in to help out. They immediately regretted this decision as Macfarlane, stepped outside of the box to concede a penalty. Relief for Wilkie when the adam&eveDDB player turned up to replace him. That was until they realised they had a goldfish for a replacement as he sprinted out of the box to concede a penalty on two separate occasions 🐟
Other than this blip, both sides were playing high-quality football. This looked like a new Droga5 side out there - Waywell, have you been putting them through their paces? As the game went on adam&eveDDB tired and Droga5 5 looked like they were the title-challenging division 1 side.

The final fixture of the evening saw VCCP, a team coming in hot from their 15-4 rout over AMV in the previous round. Up against a seasoned Ogilvy UK side, currently sitting 2nd in Division 2.
It was a cagey start to the game with each team trying to establish dominance in the opening minutes. Both sides settled into the game having their fair share of possession, however, VCCP managed to take the edge off Mallins’ half-time talk, as they nicked the lead going into the break.
VCCP came out of the break roaring and placed lots of pressure on Ogilvy UK. The attacking presence of VCCP was too much for Ogilvy as they secured the 7-10 victory ⚽️
Unfortunately, McCann London were unable to field a team, which allowed That Lot to proceed through to the semi-finals without playing an official fixture.
There we have it. Wieden + Kennedy, Droga5, VCCP and That Lot through to the semi-final.
